Theoretical and Applied Aspects of Cybernetics

This is an annual International Scientific Conference of Students and Young Scientists is held on the basis of the Faculty of Cybernetics. The next conference will be held on 12-16 November 2012. Detailes you can find at the conference web-site.

Schevchenkivska vesna (Shevchenko's Spring)

Is an international scietific conference of students, postgraduates and young scientists. This is an event of whole university, being held yearly from 2003. Detailes you can find at the conference web-site.

Intellectual club "What? Where? When?"

The club regulary organizes and holds intellectual games on cybernetics faculty, in which teams compete in ability to find correct answers for various questions in a limited time.

Debate club

Devate club unites followers of "Debate" game and creates environment for discussing certain interesting and problem questions. Taking part in debates is a nice way to learn tolerance, oratory and critical thinking.

Students' Love

This is an anonymous poll of students of cybernetics faculty, for evaluating attitude of studetns to the teaching process. The goal of the poll is detection and removal of shortcomings of teaching process.

Абрахам Галеви (Адольф) Френкель
1981-02-17 — 1965-10-15

Френкель получил известность своими работами по аксиоматической теории множеств. Ещё в Марбурге (1919) он опубликовал первую статью на эту тему (Einleitung in die Mengenlehre), затем последовали две статьи (1922, 1925), развивающие предложенную Цермело аксиоматику. В версии Френкеля аксиоматика теории множеств стала классической. Другие работы Френкеля касаются в основном абстрактной алгебры и различных аспектов оснований математики. Френкель также опубликовал ряд работ по истории математики и проблемам развития образования в Израиле. Награждён Премией Израиля, раздел точных наук (1956)
